I’ve been making wine kits for a few months, but I can’t do the temperatures 22 – 25 degrees. So I have a couple of heat pads in my garage which seem to be working. The tape thermometers do not show a reading, I don’t know why.

The wine kits are taking a few days longer at the cooler temperatures, but they taste good so far.

I’ve just prepared my first kit beer - Coopers Hefe - which will be brewed under the same conditions.

Will it Work?

Thanks

How cool is cool?

Sometimes a combination of low temperatures and a miserly amount of yeast that comes with some kits (6g vs 12g) can result in brews stalling at 1020. no idea how much yeast comes with that kit but try to keep the temp at 18C or above.
