Beer has been moved to a clean container for bottling. There is is a sticky ring in the plastic fermentation container. I have tried to clean this off with hot water, sterilising solution and bleach with no luck.
How do I remove it from a plastic container ?

Also attached is a photo of what I have bottled; an IPA. For ease with my first brew,I have used coopers carbonation drops in the bottles. How long do these take to dissolve?

......... It works a treat. Plus a no scratch scouting pad.

Didn't realise that they still did "Bob a Job Week" ...

... but agree entirely and would only add that you let the FV soak for 24 hours before even trying to clean it off. (Turning the FV upside down minimises the amount of water required!) :thumb:

Next time you brew, when fermentation stops, leave it a week longer on the yeast to clean up, then give it a week even two in a secondary before bottling, it will drop even more yeast out of solution, then you will find your bottling a lot cleaner and clearer beer, then two weeks warm to carbonate then at least 3 weeks conditioning , i never drink my beer without at least 6 weeks conditioning, be patient and reap the rewards of a decent drink.
