Beer Kit - Additional Flavours?

Hi all,

Is it possible to add additional flavours to a lager or bitter kit before fermentation? For example, could I add a peach syrup into the fermentation tub when mixing the wort and sugar?

Would this work or just spoil my batch?

yeah you could do, i recently breweed the milestone raspberry wheat beer kit that comes with a raspberry flavour sachet, milestones advised to add after around 10 days.
