I wanted to use a honey cider and sage glaze, but I got vetoed :nono: by SWMBO
So the only additional flavouring is from the smoke generated by the other food that I am grilling.
Here we are an hour in to the cooking after I turned it.

Ohhh Crusty Rolls & English Mustard Please!

Some of you may have noticed my absence from the forum for the past few months, this has been due to ill health and the fact that we have been in the process of selling and moving house
We have now finally moved
There's still a lot to do but !!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a lovely afternoon so I got her fired up :D

You have inspired me to light the Chimanea for the first time this year!

lovely BBQ - is it a self built gas BBQ??

I'd love to make one!! The amount the charge for them in the shops is criminal!!

Gas? :wha:
Gas :nono:
I know how to light and maintain a fire
It burns charcoal or wood and imparts a wonderful flavour to anything cooked on or in it :thumb:
I didn't build it was bought as a present about7 or 8 years ago, it gets a clean with fire grate polish once a year and it may well last longer than me

Having eaten goose from it I can tell you it's the 'norks' :thumb:

Thats a great looking BBQ... :thumb:

Is it a one off, or are they still sold somewhere?

Ah man, I love BBQ cooking. I see you're a big lover of the "indirect method" which I implore anyone to try out. It's hard to beat a nice big bit o' meat cooked indirectly on a kettle or drum BBQ like yours.

That's some serious BBQ porn you got going on there! I'd love a 'Q like that. I've got a 55cm Webber Classic though, which does the job nicely :thumb:

My task for this summer is to perfect my rack of ribs recipe - dry rub and basting sauce.

Likewise - I'm definitley into the outside cooking (and drinking) experience

Hers a couple of photos of my set up I took on the phone yesterday - unfortunately not cleared up too well from cooking lunch for 8 people

Muchos meat and even more muchos beer

Great stuff chrisp :thumb:
There's nowt better than cooking and drinking outside
