You don't believe anything the daily mail prints do you? Its probably nothing to do with alcohol and much more to do with asylum seekers, people on benefits or the Euro?

Looking at the picture of the booze shelf I'd have to only have ONE brain cell anyway to drink any of that shi*! (With the exception of the wonderful Budvar.)

You forgot absentee fathers, equality & diversity and health & safety legislation, and labour unions.

One word article review:

Meh...

I feel the same about it just though it would interest some.

On a more worrying note I'm a part time student so it must affect me
I feel like I need a drink to make me feel better :drink:

No detailed mention of research = nonsense

Anything could cause variability in their results, they just picked the one which would sell their arserag of a paper.

Must say I agree the Daily Mail is the place to go for health scare articles. Although these are some interesting results that may warrant further research 30 people is hardly an adequate sample to extrapolate the findings to everyone. T

I have the daily mail app on my phone and iPad just to make me feel better, if I have a bad day I have a quick scan and it proves to me that you can make anything sound worse that it really is

I think its true.
I read half the headline and lost interest, then I got my wife to punch me on the arm whilst I tried to read the headline and didn't get any further, and I've just finished a pint....

I find the opposite true, every time I see a mail article it makes me lose faith in humanity, because there are people out there who actually believe the stuff!

I read the article, it said that once sober, there was no measurable difference in the two groups, however the alcohol drinkers had a few percent more elecrical stimulus in their brain to acomplish the same results - what this tells me is that drinking makes your brain more active - so therefore must be good for you!

crastney for health minister I say !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The other ridiculous thing about this story is that next week they'll run a story saying that if you drink three pints a night you'll increase your IQ/sex life/cancer resistance and lower your blood pressure/taxes/risk of burglary (delete as appropriate) or some other such nonsense. Scaremongering, lie spreading, vindictive ba**ards that they are!

Sorry...did that come across a bit mental? I'm not a fan of the right wing...
