ok iv been up far to many hours,

my question is

brown or white bread?
streaky, back or collar?
smoked or unsmoked?
tomato or hp?
cut in half or whole?

mines white, back, smoked, tomato, whole.

how do you like yours?

sorry bored

white, back, smoked, whole, brown

You forgot the egg

Ideally

Home made white, thick cut back, smoked, tomato and whole

It's acceptable to substitute home made bread for a decent shop loaf and I can't cope with unsmoked. Thin bacon is a waste though and hp is only allowed on sausages.

Cutting the sandwich is definitely a sign of deviancy.

White bread, smoked streaky bacon, left whole, with lots of broon sauce, aw man this is like food ****, I need a cold shower.

Already had a bacon butty and now having a cheese burger from a road cafe
Got to love a bit if food **** on a weekend :thumb:

it's all about using a griddle pan to get the chargrill flavour! toast, loads of butter, egg and 4 smoked bacon, red sauce. winner!

White bread, not too thick cut but a good thickness
Back bacon, fried, not grilled, just so the fat is crispy and the bacon is just on the cusp of chewy and crispy.
Oak smoked
English mustard
Whole, only wimmin cut them in half, if it's cut in half diagonally then..... :nono:

I do enjoy the addition of egg, mushrooms and tomatoe*, in which case the bread thickness goes up and it needs three slices of bread, known as a scooby snack around our house :)

*I agree, it now no longer a bacon sandwich, it's now breakfast in bread :)
