Hi everyone,
Paul here, based in Edinburgh.
I definitely used to be a member of this forum maybe 4 or 5 years ago - the site seems to have had a revamp since then and I guess my old account got lost. Either that or i got my username/email guesses wrong...
My return to brewing was (I assume like many others) prompted by the current lockdown. When it was clear we'd be confined to quarters for a while, my instinct was "things are looking bad, I should support the local businesses I care about" so I immediately placed orders at my LHBS and bottle shop. As did pretty much everyone else as it turns out, judging by the chat from the homebrew suppliers and the guy who runs the offy.
Anyway, I'm brewing on my homemade all-grain kit which has been in storage - mango chutney barrels with kettle elements and a coolbox mash tun.
One batch of elderflower golden ale is just about conditioned, one batch of Punk IPA clone is fermenting now, and I've just placed an order for a corny keg kit, so I guess that means I'm back for good.
Cheers all,
Paul.
