Hi All.
After many years away from homebrew ive decided to give it a go again. Just picking up a few bits locally to get me going again. ( picking up a fv later)

I did a few brews years ago with some success using the wilkos kits. Before buying i thought i should ask for recommendations on a good brew kit, id like something along the lines of Bradfield Brewery's 6er or a Tyskie type of lager.

All imput welcome.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum.
Try this for a 'refresher'

There is also a kit review section here.

If you are starting with kits I suggest you avoid the 1.5kg one cans (like Wilko) unless you intend to brew short (ie brew to a reduced volume) or intend to add proportionately more malt extract. Or put another way you can do much better than a 1.5kg one can and a kilo of sugar brewed to 23 litres .athumb..
If you want a starter lager to get you on your way try Coopers European plus 500g light or extra light DME (spray malt), 500g dextrose brewed to 21-22 litres at 16*C using the single packet of kit yeast. You will need to raise the temperature to 19/20*C at the primary fermentation end for 2/3 days for a diacetyl rest (look it up). When carbed up you could store cold for a few weeks which should improve it.
