Holy Moly!!!

I won't bother with the superlatives because there are none worthy of this beer.

Traditional stout aficionados need not apply.

This is new stout, this is stout for the 21st century, this is stout reincarnate.

Sweet water? Perhaps.

Happy Ending? Happy bloody start, middle and ending!!!

I must try to make this beer, if I ever get anywhere close to this stout in my brewing career I will be VERY happy. Very happy indeed.

It goes like this... Sweet... Malt sweetness, intense malt sweetness, instantly balanced by dark malt astringency and the start of the 60-something IBU of hop bitterness. So that's what you would expect from a stout... What you wouldn't expect is a finish of peaches, grapefruit and melon!!!

Amazing. Utterly amazing. I used to think that nobody would top Brewdog's Tokyo* for crazy stout.

Happy Ending, for me at least, knocks it into a cocked hat - a very small, high, and difficult to reach cocked hat it is too.

Astounding beer.

If you ever see it, buy it. And buy me one too.

Oh, and it's 9% so be careful!

It's a good job American pints are a good bit smaller than ours... Three proper pints would have been problematic...
