Good. Very very good.

Colour was a nice medium-dark amber with a fair reddish tinge too. Aroma was hops, hops and more hops. Mountains of cascade. The other hop was apparently Bravo which I haven't come across but it's a high AA bittering hop apparently - it did a good job, not as smooth as challenger or anything but still nice, not rough on the finish like some big hops can be.

Given that this was at the end of a 20+ hour day and its 32 degrees here I wasn't going to complain about it being chilled... In fact it seemed to suit being chilled, the malt came through as the beer warmed in the mouth after the initial hop bomb and before the bitter finish.

All in all, a very accomplished craft beer. :thumb: :thumb:

It's a two thumbs up!

NEXT!!!

Does that mean that beer is now served at lager temps in the Kingy Household

Wet towel covering the pin with a fan on it, not cold but still very drinkable.

Nice to see that you are sampling to local beers Calum.

What's next on the menu

...tonight I'm on the hunt for Sweetwater's beer... Given that we're out in a business district, there are no sights to see so hunting out the local "crafts" is all I can do. Purely for research purposes, see where the American craft beer scene is going, you know...

32c standard UK temperature now.

...and I'm very glad we had that before coming here, I would have died otherwise!
