aroma hops, how long once opened?

I'm thinking about opening a pack of hops to mix up an IPA, but I won't be brewing the main thing I've bought them for for about 2-3 months...

will they hold enough aroma in an airtight container in the freezer or.will they suffer for it?

this is were a decent vacuum sealer comes in. Failing that put them in a zip lock bag squash and expell as much air as possible and put in freezer. :thumb:

however....make sure you put them in the freezer........ the aroma from hops is powerful and lingering if they are kept in a fridge......
