'Apollo' Stainless Steel

Unboxed my S/Steel Apollo, a neat unit ticks all the boxes for what one will need in a fermenter, same lid as my PET Apollo's even got the 'Spundy' thrown in. If you need a spunding valve these come in at under a fiver in UK currency. The legs on the unit are adjustable so it can fit nicely into the fridge and extend to fit TC fittings. Still has the same plunger dump valve as the PET fermenter. Well thought out unit.

Looks very nice. The only thing I miss with my SS conical fermenter I have for my larger system vs my Fermzilla I use with my smaller system is not being able to see the brew... but many positive benefits too.

Still waiting for these to come over to the UK, very tempted to get on to replace my All Rounder... I think B2B might be importing some.
@hoppyscotty - hoping the advantages of an SS fermenter with TC ports outweigh the disbenefit of not being able to see those yeasties munching their way through the wort.

Now on b2b as coming soon. @foxy how do you rate it so far, worth the investment? I've lost two plastic pressure fermenters to chlorine cleaning (no kk tank replacements in UK )! SS seems a safeguard against issues. As you can steam it to kill nasties...

It's been coming soon for nearly two months now... Have started eying up the BrewBuilt X2 but they are a tad smaller volume (whilst also being taller!), also £833 which I think will be around £300 more than the Apollo Titan. Is jacketed so more flexible if you want to move from fridge to glycol without having a cooling coil in your wort.

I looked at the miniUni but the base model is £538 now (for the jacketed Uni+, not sure the plain Uni is still available anywhere), then you need to add the legs for £35, the handles for £38 and a 4" pressure lid for around £40... And it's an awkward tall/narrow shape.
Also looked at the WilliamsWarn 25l one for £599 and Dark Farm have just released a 25l pressure FV as well, but that was a tad too tall for my fridge.

I find that the plunge valve once seated under pressure impossible to raise again. Unless you dump the pressure which seems pointless. I'd fit a butterfly valve to the TC connection.

I've got a butterfly valve and some 1.5" gaskets/clamps on order from AliExpress, along with a 1.5-2" TC adapter. I plan to get the BrewBuilt/Kegland TC collection vessel and connect that up to the dump port.

First use today after a good clean. Not got any add-ons yet and wanted to try as is anyway. Fits nicely into my undercounter fridge but have had to turn to the side. Think I would struggle with a dump valve as might end up too tall but will check the measurements.

It looks like Angel Homebrew are releasing their own “BrewDevil” branded pressurised SS conical. Very interested to see how the price compares. It’ll be Chinese made, but if it works it works, and I have the BrewDevil all in one and it’s great.

It looks like you get quite a lot of accessories/bits with it, and I like how the ports are all either quite low down or in the lid.
