Brewmaker kits before. I've got a brewmaker Scottish heavy to make soon probably some time next week. The can says that it ferments and clears quickly and can be ready to drink in 10 days (yes 10). I will still have it in FV then but was wondering if anyone has brewed these before and are they quicker than most others

Haven't brewed kits for a long time, however, although it would be 'drinkable' at 10 days, I suspect the quality of the ale would be massively improved by letting it condition for at least a couple of weeks first.

And the rest!

Kit beer just doesn't get good until:

2 weeks in primary
2 weeks to carbonate and
3-4 weeks to condition

Drink it in 10 days from pitching and you'll probably never brew again... (not because it'll harm you in any other way than the rapid expulsion of the contents of your innards, just because it'll be rank.)

I don't intend dining after 10 days I leave in FV for st least 2 weeks I was wondering if anyone had brewed these before and what there like. I will find out once brewed myself but just wanted to know if they are ok

In which case, check out the Beer Kit Reviews section.

If it's not there, perhaps you could write one if you brew it? :thumb:

Have not seen it in reviews but will add mine when I drink it

Thank you kindly! The reviews section is building up into a nice little resource.

Didn't even consider that we had a beer kit reviews section! will have a look as I fancy putting a couple of kits on as an easier way to fill cornies in a family-friendly manner!

Wassail!
