...Mason/Kilner jars? I'm wondering what the best process is. I have some Kilner jars.

Ideally, I just want to pour a litre or so of ready-made room temperature wort onto an existing starter bed in the conical, to step it up mid week. Seeing that my only conical is already in use, it would seem easiest to do this, rather than try to chill some in a pan.

I freeze left over wort in plastic milk containers to use for any yeast starters etc.

Thanks. I'm trying to avoid having to reboil. Just want to store sterile and pour straight in.

ADDED: ...like a no-chill starter, I suppose. Found something on the web now, ta. Wasn't clear on best practice with the jars but think I've got it pretty clear.
