It's an excellent beer; I did it for my first AG from GW's book and used a Brewlab Thames Valley 2 yeast and got some nice fruity, caramel, liquorice flavours :thumb:

Hi Simon, was my 2nd AG brew and I messed up a little and it was not as strong as it should have been. However its been racked into its 2ns vessel and is looking and smelling great very reminiscent of the St.Peters Red Ruby ale ( one of my fav kits ) So it will be an easy session drinker of SH.
I made it also as my 3rd AG brew and its just about finished fermenting although another week to go in the bin, and it seems a.o.k. No cock ups this time so it should be the full Sarah Hughes brew, and am looking forward to it. has a lovely aroma.
