I haven't watched a lot of any kind of sports since I got married in '87.
Back in 1971 to 1975 I lived in Allentown, Pennsylvania about 50 miles from Philadelphia. During the early 70's the Philadelphia Flyers dominated the NHL and I watched some games then.
Early in that streak they had Kate Smith (1940's radio star) sing God Bless America to start one of their games instead of the Star Spangled Banner and they won and they had her back over and over and they won 90% of the games that they had her sing.

I used to be into it a while ago, haven't watched in a long time but saw a couple of games in the TV when I was in Canada. Would love to see Maple Leafs of NY Rangers one day. I saw the London Giants many years ago, whilst not NHL was still fun to go to a hockey game. How do you watch NHL in the UK?

I usually watch the extended highlights which are free on nhl.com
