another problem!!! stainless pot gone funny.

Just dried the hlt and there's a mark that seems almost burned. It wasn't there before and the only difference is I used AMS today. The mark is in the direction I squirted the AMS but the hlt had water in. I stirred the water about 10 minutes after adding. Only 11ml of AMS was used too so not huge amounts.
Is my pot nackerd? :cry:

I think it just removed the top layer , like copper has a layer once left out becomes brown where once orange(copper) stainless steel has a surface layer that will come back if left in contact to the air so should be fine . I would scrub it with water and bleach and plenty of water after too to rid the bleach just to be sure .

I've scrubbed with water but have no bleach. I'll leave the lid off too.

I may of been wrong but i doubt it's knackered . There are a few on here that know their chemicals so hopefully will help better .
