Ive just taken on a interim job (4 weeks) with a company. Now, Ive worked it out that one of my "bosses" is a "Walter Mitty " character regarding time he spent in a branch of the Armed Forces. This morning he gave my a right old bo*****ing in front of the rest of the staff (incidentley, really not my fault/if it was Id own up). I dont need the job, or the money, or a reference.
Should I "out" this person for being a liar ?

Sorry, dont know why Im posting this, I know exactly what Im going to do. Im going in tomorrow with the evidence and in front of everyone, tell him what a liar he is and present the evidence to the rest of his staff.

If the job is of little consequence to you, then show him up for what he is. I would not stand for it and if you don't need the money, then your own pride/dignity is more important.

Do it dude, f him. I work in Hereford and the amount of people who claimed to of been in the sas is bonkers. If they were all true then the sas must have thousands of members.

OOOOHH! Let me know how this goes (goes to get some popcorn).

I was in the SAS and so was my wife!

Just been thinking about this over the last 5 mins. Surely, this ****, or his bosses must have read my CV, thats why they employed me. The only conclusion that I can think of, is that he has lied to his bosses.
Either way, he will be exposed tomorrow AM.
It will give me greatest of pleasure to film and post his reaction on YouTube.
Im almost looking forward to going to work tomorrow.

Every dog has it's day, show the ******** the size of your teeth.

By the sounds of it this f**k wit will be destroy'd more by being outed. You also get to keep the high ground, should serve as a reminder to the bosses to check CV's? They employed a knob but what if they ran a school or care home and didn't check who they were employing?

I like Hereford, the town and the county. I understand your situation. You are safe in the knowledge that you will Never get into "situation/fight/argument/discussion" with a soldier.

CRB are in place , but I know what you mean

I once worked with a bloke who said he was in the SBS?? All us old staff knew him to be full of it but the new staff lapped it up. He would sit there on training in an ill fitting suit telling the young impressionable staff how he once swam 20 miles in a dry-suit while based in the Sudan in 40 degree heat! and how a spider once laid it's eggs in his knee and they burst out one day when he was sleeping! Knob.
Anyway he came undone one day when he was showing the new staff around the grounds, he was in the swimming pool area and slipped and fell in. To cut along story short he had to be rescued by the gym staff as the fat **** couldn't swim! Now i'm no military expert but i would reasonably assume that to be in the Special Boat Service one would need to be able to at least doggy paddle not flail about screaming for help.

The world is unfortunately populated by Bell Ends.

National Service is a load of bolloccks. You serve because you want to serve. Its your choice. The last thing that I want next to me is a conscript, **** him, Id sooner shoot him, then get on with my job
