Another Kiwi Pale (and maybe a Pils)!

Just done an inventory of hops in the freezer and found these NZ Hops, was thinking a Pale and also a Pilsner if I have enough malt this week. Can anyone suggest a hop schedule from these for both a pale and a Pils? I am going to bitter with Magnum as I have not had very good experiences bittering with NZ hops in the past. I'm having a bit of a 'brewers' block with ideas at the moment. My last NZ Pale I bittered with Taiheke and found it a bit woody so might be better as a late addition.

Kohatu 100g
Motueka 100g (bit old but still sealed)
Taiheke 50g

My first reaction is that the wai'iti and the motueka should go into two, separate, crisp pilsners 4.5-5% abv. The Wai'iti is low alpha so you'll probably use it all up, while the motueka is a bit stronger so you might have some left over. Then take the other two and the rest of the motueka and make a cold IPA out of the lot.
If you're trying to use them all up, that is.
Hope you're keeping well and getting to the end of that batch of Braggot. I've still got 5 33s left!
 
Thanks for that, food for thought! For the Pilsner additions, would you add that at late boil whirlpool or dry hop?

Still have a few bottles left, might send one to next month's freestyle comp for sh*ts and giggles.

Each one to his own, of course, but I don't dry hop Pilsner-type lagers. The latest goes in at flameout. No good reason for that apart from the idea that the lagers I really like don't dry hop, either, as far as I know. Plenty of late additions, though.
Not sure how wai'iti would work as a bittering hop because I've never done it, but I can't imagine it wouldn't work. In fact I've got some so I'm going to try it.
Generally, I do the bittering with green bullet or pacific jade because I know and trust those hops like I trust magnum for european lagers. Then I'll add a good 10 or 15 minute charge- size dependent on alphas, and then a flameout charge, which, if I'm feeling adventurous, might also have a <80C steep.

Have you ever tried to make a cold IPA, by the way. I was taken aback by how good my first one turned out... and then I started experimenting and it wasn't so good, but the style is great and it certainly doesn't have to be cloudy.
