Another Brew fridge question

Hi all
so the missus has bought a new fridge...which means I get the old one.
I have a mangrove jacks heat pad and dual controller so was wondering whether the best option would be to use the heat pad in the fridge or would I be better getting a heater instead...I assume I can use a heater from the controller?. The controller is an STC1000

I don’t know anything about heat mats, but I did mine this way. Adds enough heat to the fridge to also carb the previously bottled batch.

I suppose as you have the heat pad anyway why not see if that works first?
You could set it up with the FV half full with water at 20 degrees or so, attached the probe to the side of the FV set the STC at 20 degrees and see if you maintain that temperature.
