Animal feed???

I was just wondering if anyone on this forum had ever used animal feed mix (corn, barley, wheat, molasses) to make a beer!!! I have seen this mentioned on a US distillers forum and they did say that you could buy the mix in UK (Yorkshire and Durham were mentioned) but that was dated 2012 and I realise I cannot go into too much detail as discussing distilling is against the forum rules

It's what it says...animal feed, different grade,not for human consumption,not screened....

I could buy 25kg of flaked corn feed for £7.50 if I thought it would work at a local farm supplier.

Edit:I certainly won't as not fit for human consumption.

I think that user @Cwrw666 is a farmer and very active HB member and brewer, who has advised against using animal feed. I would sincerely advise following such counsel. He did post a picture of himself on the Forum some time ago and he does not have the look of a man averse to taking the odd risk, with respect, of course.

I certainly have no intention of using it as my post does seem a bit misleading...
