My next door neighbour has asked me for some beer to donate as raffle prizes at a BBcue he is holding next Saturday 26th June. (Had I not been stuck in Majorca for over 10 days I might have known sooner)

He is raising money in aid of leukaemia research, (has has been suffering from it himself this year and only finished chemotherapy at the end of may).

I am struggling to find much stuff to donate, as stocks are low at the mo, although will be asking at work for some things and have some stuff I can donate.

Now the cheeky bit, Can anyone send a bottle of beer or wine in the post this week as a raffle prize, anything will be greatly received, and money raised by the raffle will go to a very worthwhile cause.

If you can PM me & I will give you the address to send it to.

All sympathy for his cause, and I hope everything goes well, but I thought it wasn't permitted (or even illegal) to offer homebrew as raffle prizes.

You could be right not thought about it to be honest, Moley.

Best ignore my message above then I don't want to get anyone in the clink, best get work to dig deep methinks.
