Anyone got one?

What do you think of it?

Do you have to buy them online or are they available in any store?

I was thinking of getting one for Mrs. Mole. The thing is, if she sees a payment go out of our joint account it's a bit of a give-away but I have got a bit of cash she doesn't know about.

A true book lover would be horrified to get one of those I reckon.
I've suggested one to SHMBO for herself and also one for her Dad - they are both real bookworms and they both dismissed it instantly.
I must admit to feeling the same way really....there's just something about 'real' books.

Sorry if I've put you off Moley

She reads a reasonable amount but I wouldn't class her as a bookworm, and has expressed an interest in these electronic gizmos, so I was just putting out feelers.

I bought a Kindle for SWMBO last year and she loves it. She has literally hundreds of books on it now.

You need to buy through Amazon and they will try to give the impression that you need to buy all your books from amazon but you can get books from other online retailers too (fictionwise.com is a good one). There are a few file formats that need to be converted to be viewed on the kindle but the coverters are free and it just takes a few seconds to sort them out.

been looking for one for my dad as he's dropped enough hints but gettin a bit wary about online/amazon hacking incidents to purchase from there but theres no elec stores sell em only place i've found is john lewis ,**** shouldnt be telling should i theyll be none left when i get there on 24th
