: ollie gale here, originally from somerset up your way, bin livin near christchurch (shakyville) new zealand for the last 10 years tho. i bin brewing for a few years now, but only from kits till recently, i'm now doing the all grain thing and totally loving it, a big challenge is using local nz ingredients , imports are expensive. my favorite brew so far is my oak'd kiwi/irish red, it's slightly too dark and a touch hoppy for its style but i don't care, cos it tastes great.
