Very peculiar and anti-climatic end to the series. W1 D1 L1.

I actually saw very little of the action as Test 1 and 3 were Brewdays and I listened to the Talksport commentary only. Second test, I saw some of (just less than half) at the gym.

Such a shame that it got sold out to Sky Sports. I gave up on that source many years ago for two reasons:

The prices were jacked up, and
My lovely #1 daughter, then aged 2 or 3 kept posting the plastic access card down behind the electric fire.

Said daughter is now 23. Got to like that little numerical symmetry. :thumb:

Fascinating series. Standard of rugby was not as high as you'd expect from an ABs side and that's what cost them the series - too many opportunities went begging. The Lions shot themselves in the foot through poor discipline and again failing to convert the chances they made. Lots of positives for the home nations though - Maro Itoje is going to make an immense England captain in the near future. Elliot Daly is maturing into a world class player. Taulupe Faletau was superb all tour. It's just a shame it ended on such an anticlimax - I can't ever remember a rugby match finishing and nobody cheering!

I don't follow rugby but remember them saying (on the radio) if they don't sort the discipline problems out they it will be their undoing.

As you said a very weird end to a fascinating series. The blacks were a little off their normal standards and the Lions did well to part gel together after just 6 weeks. Lots of missed chances on both sides but overall I think the all blacks edged it. Maro is definitely going to be a legend in the game and chuffed he is English ha.

All the years I have watched Rugby, never seen a game end where both sets of players and fans looked a bit disappointed, I really enjoyed the last test, quality was a bit lacking but it was a proper hard faught contest.

We have have got a little lucky at the end.. That said I thought ABs hinged and got away with a lot at the scrum whereas we got penalised straight away.

Itoje again was brilliant JD was very good at 13.. I thought Watson looked dangerous, Warbuton stepped up aswell
