Started the Beerworks Founders yesterday lunchtime and by ten pm it had started fermenting with some conviction. By mid morning it turned into a frothy volcano and I've had to change the towel twice already. I'm figuring just leave it and it will settle down within a day or so? The other two recent kits were no where near this active, but didn't have as much malt or yeast. Should I do anything or let it run its course?

Would be a good idea to clean, and re-fit the airlock.
The "foam" could create a bridge, and allow any wild yeasts/bacteria present access to your beer.
That's the whole point of an airlock...

That's really good advice, I'll do that now. It would be criminal to waste such a nice kit. Thanks
