Hi all.Been a bit of a lurker on the site for a while, thought it was time to say hello. I'm Jim & I've been brewing on and off since 1995. Went over to the dark side just under 2 years ago & loving it.Hop plants in the garden coming along nicely. I get down to Ashford a bit,so the Easy Home Brew store is my supplier of choice. Brew shops are a bit thin on the ground round this way so if there are any other dark siders near to me who want to swap odds & sods or go halves on sacks of malt then PM me.

Welcome from Slough!

I am also an AGer but i tend to get my stuff from the forum sponsors, as you say the LHBS are thin on the ground down here!

I'm in Sydenham, and if I had a car I'd go to Cheers, in Cheam for stuff. I've never brewed any beer, only cider, and recently some wine, so without a big investment on the kit, I'm not going to be helping out with malt or grain - might be interested in cheap deals on DJs though, or something...

The beers are most definitely on! Got GW's Exe valley spring beer bubbling away, a tweaked liquid gold bottled & a shsg with marris otter & galaxy planned for the W/E.False bottom for the boiler on the way from hop & grape & brewgas taps turned up today-it's all good. :drunk:

Hi there, welcome to the forum. I'm one of 4 AG'rs living in Orpington...

...and I'm one of one(?) who works in Petts Wood

We have enough around here for a proper home brew party... :drunk:
