I am in the process of trying to fathom AG..

Am doing a lot of reading, and am going to do Firsty Gold as the first attempt from the recipes section.

I've been reading lot, and trying to work out when to add the hops
If the recipe says e.g. 90min boil

20g First Gold 90min - Does this mean 90min from the end of the boil, ie the beginning

Also, 15g First Gold 15min - Does this mean 15min from the end (75mins from the beginning)

For aroma, does 15g First Gold 15min mean - 15mins after 90mins boil finished? Or something else?

Apols if this is a simple question!

Yes, Yes and no, the last means the same as the second.
Then there's adding hops at flameout, ie, turn off the heat and then add some more hops.
And an 80 degree steep, ie cool the wort to 80 then add some more hops, both these last 2 the hops are left for around 30 minutes before the wort is cooled to pitching temperature.

Many thanks for this, I did wonder about the aroma hops at the same time as the addition of the second, probably - I guess the recipe is one that just has two 15min additions one for bitterness and the other aroma, coincidentally at the same time and the same amount. I thought, hmm, I could just add 30g in this instance, but I thought I was oversimplifying it! :D

(seems a bit early to put a beer drinking smiley, even for me...!)

You also have the other option First Wort Hopping.
This means adding the hops right at the start of sparging. It seems to give SOME aroma along with the "normal" hoppyness I usually do this on most of my brews - it allows me to be a big "rough" with the start time so I may end up with a 95 or 100 min boil
