AG#5 Ole' Thumper. 30/12/08

Never drank Old Thumper before until a few days ago,went down well.
So here's my attempt.

25L,90 min mash@67C. 90min boil.
4.88kg Maris Otter
0.29kg Torrified Wheat
0.18kg Crystal Malt
0.18kg Choc.Malt
32 gm Progress 90 mins.
22 gm Challenger 90 mins.
18 gm Goldings 15 mins.
Protaflac 15 mins.
Probably dry hop with 28gm Goldings.
Windsor Yeast
Water treatment.Cam tab,D.L.S.& Gypsum.

Spot on with target 1.050 SG.

First go at a "darker brew".Had a peep first thing this morning foamy krausen formed and looking good so far. :party:
