Thinking of this today.

4kg marris otter
200g crystal malt

40g northern brewer 60mins
30g challenger 20mins
20g brambling cross 0mins

With my efficiency I should get an OG of 1.044 and it has ibu's around 55. I'm thinking classic malt combo, good bittering and the late brambling cross for a bit of Blackcurrant

I have to confess to never having used Northen Brewer or Challengers...........

Should be a good pale beer.....

I have some bramling x on order and thinking about doing a single hop brew with it next weekend.

On my list to try a single hop too but only got about 50g right now

Many of the recipes in Graham Wheelers book follow a similar malt profile, will be nice to see what some different hops bring to the beer. What yeast are you planning to use?

A big 25 kg sack of Maris Otter is a great investment !
