AG#3 fg

Allright guys,

I started a newcastle brown clone a week and a half ago then went away for a week. Since then the temp in my house has dropped from a regular 20c to about 16 when I was away. OG was somewhere around 0.60 mark. Gravity is now .010 to .012 , I was thinking about bottling tonight but this is still below black indicator line on my hydrometer. When I took sample was still a thin layer of bubbles across most of surface. Will it be OK to leave until Friday night (14 day mark) to bottle or should I get on and bottle tomorrow for optimum niceness ?

it should be fine to bottle most strong beers finish a bit early but your sg was high. We bottled at 1.020 the other week and its ok :thumb:

thats a hefty brew, the best part of 6.5%! whereabouts in scotland are you, im going to head over to yours for a night drinking AG3, rocket fuel! : :

Aberdeen mate, can always try n save u a bottle for a swap if u like.

Aye rocket fuel right enough, I think my sparge was ultra efficient, and I did put a wee splash of sugar into each boil pot

However, I was about 0.06 ish at 17l and I stuck another couple of litres cold in so should bring it down a wee bit.
