What ho!

I spoke with the spouse and she fancies a lighter hoppy beer for No.3, I was thinking of Brupaks IPA plus a 1.8Kg Muntons Light Malt, I appreciate this may up the finish ABV a bit, but can anyone see a problem with this?

If you want it hoppy, go for beer enhancer. More malt means less hop flavour, it's all about balance.

Can't speak for the kit itself, but IPA is probably the way to go for what you're after! I tried the Better Brew one the other day and it was good, albeit quite heavy for a pale!

Thanks Rob,

My mother Beer was Gales HSB (until bloody Fullers bought them out and brewed it with dirty London water  ), so malty and hoppy is good. My brew buddy has some spare hops so I might use the malt plus some hop tea to up the miracle molecules......
