Hi all, am going away for a weekend at the end of january with a few friends to watch a rugby match, has been suggested i make a beer to take with us,
firstly any suggestions as what to make, as in a basic bitter that everyone will like, and if i keg in a basic plastic keg will it survive a 3-4 hour car journey or will it be like mud when we arrive as they will want a beer or two as soon as we arrive on fri night. :drunk:

Pick pretty much any bitter, bottle some for that first sup, and once the keg has had a night to settle it should be fine :thumb:

just looked at the recipe, don't have any northdown hops could i use challenger as i understand they are a substitute.
