Hi all,

Ive had my Admirals Reserve in the FV for 3 weeks now as i've not had time to bottle it, will it still be ok or do you think it may have been on the trub for too long?

I know it's not going to be off or anything but i was planning on storing 10 pints away in glass bottles for a long time, but don't see the point if it's not the best brew to start with!

Thanks Andy

As long as it tastes OK then it will be fine. Be careful in future though as you could pick up an infection Summer and autumn are the worst times and september onwards is time for fruit flies which leads to acetobacter and vinegar. I have lost 2 to fruit flies and at least one to wild yeast  .

As a rule now I never leave a brew longer than 2 weeks (except very high gravity beers and all ciders).

Thanks for the replies guys,

I'll be bottling it this weekend then, with windows/doors closed
It's been kept under an airlock for the full time so prety sure it won't have gotten infected.
I was more worried it could have off tastes (etc) due to it being left too long on the trub.

Andy
