Adding yeast

I just done my first home brew think I may of mixed in the yeast at a slightly cooler temperature than between 18 and 21 degrees. Is this a massive issue. It is now in a warm place
 
As long as you warm it to 18 - 21 and try to keep it thereabouts then this will be fine, what they're saying is don't add the yeast at high temps i.e. 35C unless it's Kveik of course but that's a different thread athumb..

It's in the airing cupboard so I presume its warm enough in there. I dont have a thermometer

Only joking...it'll be fine! Just don't fiddle with it..leave it for at least two weeks.
Have you got a hydrometer?
Yeah got one of them mate it came in the kit. Just ordered 40 bottles for bottling and all that and carbonation drops. But that's saying one stop per 375ml bottles iv got 500ml so two tablets will be to much wont it and ones not enough
 
Yep plus one on the sugar no need for wasting money on drops normal sugar works perfectly

Can I leave the liquid in the fermenter bucket a few days longer. Ordered all my bottles for bottling and caps but the capping maching dont think it will come in time. Only an extra day or two
 
It's fine to leave in the fermenter for a while until you're ready to bottle. I've left some of mine in for 3 weeks after fermentation has finished due to going away on holiday. The bottling was easy because all yeast had dropped out and the beer was nice and clear. It needs a few weeks after bottling to carb up if bottled that clear, but it definitely benefits from the extra time in the fermenter.
 
The problem with those I've found is they can be quite hit and miss so it's probably best to buy 2 or 3 and hopefully get an accurate one
My cheapo digital thermometer is not too bad. But you might be right about them in general. That said even the Inkbird I have is a bit inaccurate. And I bought a liquid in glass brewing thermometer recently to replace an old Boots thermometer I had had for years after I broke it and it was is wildly out so don't use it. But the one type I wouldn't bother with is the stick on sort, the one I have is rubbish.
