Hi have been brewing for some years mostly using coopers Ipa or dark bitters(good results) have occasionally added some extra malt
is this worthwhile or not?? also have never used drops for head retention are they any good??? thanks for any info

Happy brewing!

yep adding certain malts (dark spraymalt or beer enhancer will add head and body) better yet steep some crystal or carapils malt (crushed) for 30mins at 70 degrees in the brew (have no enzymes just lvly proteins and flavour so ready to go no mashing req) - atm doing a brew using only these and sugar but not v hopeful for head, like always

as for drops-probably work but why bother- thats a couple of quid best spent on malt which also add a certain malty booze bonus :drink:
