Hi all

Been doing a few lager kits and just thought of a question that might be really obvious. When you put the yeast in at the end it says in the kit instructions to sprinkle it on the top and then put lid on etc and thats it. For some reason all the kits i have done before i have sprinkled the yeast on and then stirred it in. I have never had a kit fail before so assumed that it was ok to do this. Is it ok to do this or should i really just sprinkle it on and not stir it in?

Thanks

Chris

I think either will do you fine. When I did kits I rehydrated the yeast first then beat the hell out of the wort when it went in, but TBH, sprinkling and leaving worked just as well.
