Hey guys.
Just tested my Wherry, it's been on the go for 2 weeks, and ready for bottling. It started off at 1032, now it's 1007, giving me 3.3%. Seems a bit weak if you ask me. Followed instructions to the letter, the only thing I am a bit concerned about is the temp. It's been in my bathroom, which is quite cool, but probably still over 22C. This gonna make much of a difference do you think?

Oh, and I think 1032 is a bit low to begin with!

Thanks!

I can almost guarantee if its a kit Wherry you have made, it would have been over your starting gravity.
Perhaps you read it wrong, didn't mix it enough etc.

The kit manufactures put enough stuff in the kits to give you a acceptable level of alcohol for the type of beer. Don't worry about it, just make sure it ferments out as much as possible.

I've done this a few times and i've never had one that started less than 1.040 so as PD said you've either not mixed it enough or taken as mis-reading. Wait till it's finished then get it kegged or bottled
