May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your arse hole for even suggesting such a thing!

I have been talking to another couple today, their son (15months old) came down with chickenpox yesterday, they are due to fly tomorrow, but have to stay at least 10 days, they are also having major trouble with their insurance company, who won't do feck all for them, (mine rearranged hotel put me AI after a nudge from me, (normally they will only cover you room only) re arranged the flights and have sorted a taxi to the airport twice) They are insured with the post office by the way and have said the assistance is *****, they have to re book a hotel, rearrange flights and transfers themselves etc.

My travel insurance is part of my home insurance with Privilege.

One thing I will say is if your kids have been in contact with others with chickenpox etc and your going abroad, cancel the holiday, you don't want to be stuck abroad, my 2 year old got chicken pox 2 days ago so I am bloody glad I got the missus to go home when she should have done.

see you all in chat on friday I will be singing and dancing :drunk:

Our two year old just had the pox as well - he was well pickled so I do feel for you UP :(

Sounds like you've had quite a time of it!!

My first born had chickenpox at 5months, which i imagined would have been worse but in fact she was fine with it, just grizzly, she couldnt manage a proper good scratch at that age!! :drink:

I can't wait to get on the plane in the morning, however all is not good as no2 son has it at home, and the wife says he is suffering a bit with it, so I have more childminding when I get back tommorow, :( ,

I'm still going to hit the homebrew & be in chat though :D

When our two went down with it James (3) had some spots and it didn't slow him down at all, Kathryn (5) was just a bit sleepy . . . .She (3?) was knocked out for three weeks! . . . . Made me glad I'd had it as a child :D

My eldest two had it when they where 5 and 3 but it barely seemed to touch them, then they gave it to me when I was 30.
God I was bad that Christmas, in bed for two weeks and spots everywhere and I mean everywhere. In my ears, down my throat and a spotty wotsit too

Safe journey home UP

Well got back, had a nip of a couple of IPA's I have conditioning, a pint of Magnum PI and Missus UP told me to get to bed ;)

So I didn't make chat, I can't even get my own predictions right :D

No 2 little un's suffering a more than the first one he has loads of spots everywhere and some really bad ones to boot.
