We have a week in Inverness a few weeks back and I've finally just got the photos off the camera.
Cracking beers :) They are a fully Organic brewery and use a biomass fed boiler to heat their HLT, boiling with a 30BBL Gas-fired copper, they have both regular FV's and DPV's (Dual Purpose Vessels) do check them out, they do tours and Cask, keg, bottle all their own beer http://www.blackislebrewery.com/

Loved it up Inverness too :)

it was very clean, I believe they have just taken delivery of some new tanks too so their beer range will be getting even more entertaining :)

Wow it has changed, and grown since I visited. We were up there in 2003 and spotted the sign, so I had to visit, like you do. It was about half that size then. Loved the beer, which we can get in Cumbria at Booths Supermarket. Not had one for a while though.

Was up that way earlier in the year- the hotel sold the bottled beer very nice too. Brought a few cases of empty bottles back - bugger to get the glue off !
