So I bottled around 40+ bottles of Geordie Lager and Keged the last bit of the brew.

After 3 weeks tested the bottles and seem good, light but I was expecting that from this lager, maybe a little longer needed to carb up a bit more but I could drink now and wouldnt be a issue.

As for the Keg, I used a 5L keg with bung on the top, filled it with about 4L and added 5 carb drops (took this from info i had found online). When I popped the bung sounded like lots of carbonation but on tasting the beer is flat!

Should i have left the keg longer than bottles or havent i primed enough? or am I best keeping clear of kegging lager and keep them for ales/ipas?

I mean I dont bottle carb so am no expert but as far as I remember if using coopers tabs its 2 for a 500ml bottle so as you have 4 litres it would be 16. I would have probably not done 16 but 5 does seem low for that volume. Were there no instructions on the packet?

No I think I went off

No instructions - Sounds like I under primed, might stick to using sugar for kegs in future or batch priming.

Think I aired on the side of caution as didnt fancy a ballooned keg!
