We've had the son-in-law & his wife stay for the weekend so we popped over to Banbury. Looking for a pub to have a meal we happened on The Beer Tree......Here. When we walked in I thought it was beer heaven....over 200 bottled beer from all over the world. We had our meal which was fantastic, when the time came to pay I added 4 bottles of Dunkels to bring home and savour later over the bank holiday....

All four were well worth the price, I love Dunkels & Bocks with the big malty kick. We're off to France in 2 weeks for holls they have a Bock called Pelforth....I will be partaking of a few as well as loading the boot of the car when we return.

I'm just back from Berlin where I had a few dunkels on tap from the local micros. We were flying so I could only pick up a couple of bottles at the airport.

I only had the one bock, a summer bock but it was superb.

One for the brew list I think :)

:thumb: I did one a few years back, it needed some work on it but it was heading down the right road. I so what to crack the Bock / Dunkel recipes.
