I like woodfords admirals reserve ,its a 2 can kit,but its only 32 pints.I want to make 40 (8 pints is 1 days worth) without dropping from 5.5 a.b.v .whats the best way?adding 200g of sugar or malt extract,or stick to 32 pints

Buy two, then get one going after the other to keep you in beer.

Or even better buy another FV and get both going at once

If you add too much extra malt/sugar and water, you are going to get a less flavoursome brew...

You will certainly dilute the flavour even if you add more sugar to increase the ABV. You will also loss bitterness as you are not adding any more hops. If you are happy with that then go ahead. But personally I would either brew more or cut down on your drinking.

I don't like the idea of cutting down ,but I'm struggling to keep up.I have 6 barrels & 3 buckets continuously on the go.drink closer to12 pints sat/sun.might get another 2 barrels & a bucket
I got barreled
2x black pearl
2x admirals reserve 1 will be finished today(drank)
2x nelsons revenge
in bucket
1 black pearl should be ready to barrel wed
1 nelsons
I use the 3rd bucket for racking

8 pints a day

Hmm, I don't think I could even manage 12 pints over a weekend without being ill.

Seriously - although homebrewing is a good way to reduce the cost of drink, I can't recommend continuously drinking that amount. For both physical and mental health, there are reasons for the recommended limit of 3-5 units a day. I probably get through about 5 pints a week.

Please don't take this as a sermon or a lecture. We're all adults on here, so to each his own. I just felt it would be remiss of me not to mention it.
