Hi.

I'm new so there is a lot I don't know and my question today (I'm sure there will be more) is what advantage does the 3 vessel method have over the single pot biab method?

you could be starting trouble with that post. A while back someone made a similar post kits vs all grain it was soon stopped. I think its just what people prefer ie.. how much room they have and space. To be honest the only difference i can think of is that biab makes smaller amounts of ale.
 
you save on space and equipment that's the only difference I can see. BIAB is a genuine all grain method and done by lots of folks.
 
i have a 76 litre pot and its on a gas ring,
a very easy way to do an ag beer.. :party:

the main joy for me is not having a stuck sparge to worry about, :thumb:
ant the fact the one vessel is left in the same place through out...


i did the no chill cube last brew,
but in this cold weather, i may just leave the lid on the boiler while it cools.. :hmm:

which shouldnt take long in a big s/s pot them drop it straight into an fv

more messing about avoided,
