I'm getting ready to bottle a London Porter AG brew I put on 28 days ago, This is without doubt the longest ferment I seen. I did nothing to this other than move it to a 2nd FV after about a week, but it just kept on going, so it has come out at about 4.8% (1.046 - 1.010)
Conversely, the latest brew (my own recipe) bitter was done and ready for the barrel in 5 days, (1.053 - 1.008 and 4.9%) what a strange set of outcomes. Has anyone else had such differing results from similar style brews?
