I have had to water my garden for the last 3 nights

Well will have a drought again soon

Proper Scorchio in Oxfordshire. 28C expected today. Damn good job those 5 gallons of mild are just about finished fermenting...

As the closest homebrewer to Hot Break venue. All I can say is scorrchio, today it hit 29.5 degrees in Dronfield, no chance of brewing as far too hot, long chat with Glyn (Barlow Brewery) today, he was doing a big brew with his 2.5 bbl kit, apparantly at 1.00pm as the end of the boil hit he was down to his underpants, not a pretty sight....At least the sheep had been moved to avert their eyes :D

Yep 29.5 oC in Brackley near Silverstone too!
Worried about barrel of St Peter ruby red in garage
Thankfully it's sat on top of freezer under a fleecy blanket to keep
Light out at about 23.5oC just hope it will be ok it's only been in barrel 8 days.
Trouble is I have to keep testing it ! :thumb:

been sat in a beer garden all evening until 8.30pm, drinking Dancing Duck IPA...lovely stuff, munching burgers and talking *****, typical summmers evening. Now sat at home watching telly trying to recollect if I sent my enterance fee to Dunfie for the Hot Break comp....

This am I drove from Manchester to Selby and it never dropped below 26 deg c, it was 27 in Manc...far too hot for the V man..twas 29 in the avo
I like the sun as long as I'm in the shade drinking a beer :drink: ...it's no good for fishing during the day either (spinning/lure exempt)...having said that, I had 25 carp and a roach off the top on floaters at Cheshire Fishing the other day...so I guess it's good for something

Pretty warm in the south east today. Unfortunately I am stuck in an air con office in London.

I had to have a walk at lunchtime, just to take in the fantastic views London has to offer in this weather ;)
