Well, I've started my first every Homebrew :)
Was a bit of a shaky start, all was going fine but had trouble get the temp down but with some great help from the guys online yesterday (Thanks!) i got it down and it's been sitting happy since last night at about 24 - 26. Check this morning and it's quite happy bubbling away :)

Took a reading when i start and was 1.035, now just need to wait. I'm already planning my next one, hoping to do the Coopers Canadian Blonde.

Thanks again to all yesterday, really helped!

Congrats on #1. No stopping you now. If you can get the temp down a bit your brew will be better off for it. 24degC is a little warm.

Thanks All, turned the heater off so that should drop the heat.

I'm doing a Woodforde's Wherry as everyone has said that's very nice :) Can't wait to try it.

Well thought I would let you know, all went ok. Took final reading after 10 days and was 1010. I've since primed and put it into the Barrel. Which is now sat then staring at me :)

Was so chuffed with the (I have the Bug) I started a Coopers Australian Draught on Sunday. I added 1kg of enhancer and 500g of Light spraymalt. This gave me a reading of 1042. Had a look this morning and it has a big head on it and it's already started to bubble a bit.
