1st ever brew.

Hi all just a little bit of info about my 1st ever brew a Youngs American IPA.
I must say I am very impressed with the IPA all be it a little cloudy it was a success 40 pints which I finished this evening.
A thanks to those who gave me advice and info on my 1st and certainly not my last brew my next 40 pints are fermenting as we speak.

Hi I currently have a porter in the barrel on secondary fermentàtion I'm really looking forward to this.
I'm quite a porter fan as well as liking IPA

What's particularly impressive is to knock off 40 pints and still have the presence of mind to pop into the forum to report the fact. OTOH, that may not be a great advert for the beer in question...

@Haversham which would be a shame because the Youngs New World kits produce tasty brews. Have to say they were the kits that got me making beer.

I had to bulk buy my kits at the end of last uear. My wife mad us make a new year's resolution. No alcohol or kits to be bought this year.
I am now bribing my kids to buy me kits for birthdays, Easter, fathers day and even my wedding anniversary
