I've just managed to get my hands on an 18L urn from my mums work, that was about to be thrown out. It's stainless steel and in good working condition. Is this suitable for a boiler? Do I need to make any modifications to it? Sounds to me like the sort of thing I need, but not totally sure!

It's a bit on the small side, you'd be limited to about a 13 litre brewlength unless you opt for high gravity brewing.
