120L??????.

In Muddydisco's Poltergeist Porter recipe at the side of Caramel/Crystal Malt is 120L. What does 120L refer to please.

I would assume it's 120 lovibond often referred to as crystal 120. The higher the L rating, the darker the malt. It's a color rating.

Another thing. Does Caramel/Crystal malt mean either could be used or is it a Mix of the 2 or is there a Caramel/Crystal malt I havn't found yet????.

Crystal and caramel are used interchangeably. Check it.
